The way we teach is inspired by the Koryû transmission:
-
Taiden - 身体伝 (Physical transmission)
-
Kuden - 口伝 (Oral transmission)
-
Shinden - 心伝 (Spirit transmission)
We are following a distinct structure:
-
Studying Kamae (mind, body and spirit attitudes) including weapons
-
Studying Kihon (basics, fundamentals) including weapons
-
Learning specific Keiko 稽古 (exercise, practice, repetition, lesson)
-
Incorporating and studying the specificities of the Buki Waza 武器技 (weapons and weaponry techniques)

Applying Ryuhâ techniques
You cannot go directly from 1 to 3. Without knowing deeply the Kamae it is impossible to apply any Kihon properly even less understanding Ryuhâ technique.
The Kamae and Kihon are the foundation of the Bujinkan's Ninjutsu and are the most difficult and critical movements to learn which include the weapons, starting with the long ones (Yari 槍, Naginata 薙刀, and Bo 棒).
They will if practiced properly, teach and build your body biomechanics, strengthen your muscles and tendons, develop a proper notion of distance, synchronization, and timing, and they will give you a better understanding of the art.
This can only be accomplished if you dedicate yourself to the training and accept with humility the teaching, direction, and advice given by your teachers.

Training commitment and personal training
The importance of your personal training is the key to develop the ability to copy what has been shown to you. To be able to reproduce perfectly the form but as well the heart of the technique, developing the art of copying demand a lot of commitment and attention to every detail, in other words, it is difficult, very difficult and require patience, work, and dedication.
If you really want to dedicate yourself to the study of this difficult art, you will have to train outside of the regular classes, on your on time and by yourself. Personal training is the only way to show progress and real dedication.
And you will discover that more you dig into the detail more a world of possibilities opens to you, and more you want to know what next. That's the beauty of this incredible art.

Outdoor Training
Training outdoors is as important as your personal training. Changing the surrounding and condition of your training are essential to develop resilience and adaptability.

Seminars
Seminars will bring you challenges as you will have to train with other practitioners with who you are not familiar with and as seminar are designed on long hours of training it will help you to develop commitment and persistence.
